Daily Schedule:
9:00-9:15 Arrival and attendance (Students hang up their belongings, and read a book until all of our friends arrive)
9:15-9:30 Morning work and opening exercises (Pledge of Allegiance, Morning Songs, What's the Weather)
9:30-10:30 Specials (Art, Music, P.E. or Library)
10:30-11:00 Recess
11:00-11:30 Lunch
11:30-12:15 Reading (Read Aloud, shared reading, online stories, small group reading)
12:15-1:00 Writing workshop (word work, vocabulary, spelling)
1:00-1:30 Movement Activity (We love Go Noodle!)
1:30-2:00 Snack time with a fun activity
2:00-2:55 Mathematics (shapes, counting, addition, subtraction)
2:55-3:15 Clean up time and get ready for dismissal (pack back packs, end of the day song, occasional story on the carpet)
